Lanigan boasts a very efficient, qualified staff of thirteen volunteer members. There are seven EMT's and 6 EMR's who have regular training and practice sessions. A new ambulance was purchased in 2000 and the service has all up-to-date equipment. The ambulance service works in conjunction with the local fire department which is equipped with the jaws of life.
