Community development services include assisting community groups and development of health promotion & prevention programs.  Access to health promotion and community grants, if eligible, is provided.

Volunteer programs at the Lanigan Union Hospital include rehabilitation helper, sitters for "at risk" patients, visitation & outings for long term patients.

Volunteer programs at Lanigan Regional Home Care include visitation and phone reassurance, client transportation, meals on wheels, palliative care and bereavement support as well as a wide range of support services.
