Library Library services in the Town of Lanigan is provided by the Wheatland Regional Library.
The Wheatland Regional Library was established in May of 1967. Since then the Region has grown and presently serves 150 communities in a 49,933 square kilometer area. Today 43 branch libraries and 20 bookmobile stops form the infrastructure that serves over 86,078 Saskatchewan citizens.
The Wheatland Regional Library is for children and adults, the very young and the very old. Wheatland has become more than a library to the people it serves. It has become a learning center, providing an unlimited supply of reading and educational material to its clients; accessible, functional and unique in the service it offers.
