In 2009, the Sportsground was renamed the GG Sportsground to honour the late Gordon Greve, long time resident of Lanigan, who donated countless hours to the development and maintenance of the Sportsground.

Top notch ball diamonds await you at the GG Sportsground located on the west side of Town.  It contains two regulation baseball and fastball diamonds, a soccer field, and track. Concession booth and new washroom facilities are also available.
